Coco, probably the nicest dog ever. Just kinda wants to be in whatever room you are, but doesn't demand attention. Nothing makes him happier than going for a walk, he gets so excited he does this funny dance.

Doesn't play well with other dogs though. His only drawback. Well, that and the shedding.

When people ask me what breed he is, I tell them he's a mutt, half dog, half teddy bear.

He acts like it too.

I think that is common w/ the breed (Chow).

It is.

Out in Phoenix, we had one that was half Chow, half Eskimo. Smartest dog I ever knew, but viewed other dogs as competition for food and attention.

When she whelped her first litter, she bit the first pup to come out, because it had hurt her.

The *other* dog we had out in Phoenix was half Chow, half Shar Pei.

It was incredibly friendly. I never even heard it so much as bark in an angry or a warning way, all its barks were of the "I'm here! I'm here! Come play!" variety.

This was also the dumbest dog I've ever known. It would repeatedly try to crash through the cement wall surrounding the house, to get at the birds in the neighbor's yard. I'm talking back up all the way across the yard and get a full running start, crashing into the wall.
