|06:27 pm - Ooh, second date time.|
I had a coffe-chat pseudo-blind date yesterday. I thought it went well, and I did the followup "again?" type email and got a positive response. Go me.
We talked for quite a while, and so I'm trying to think of a nice date that is less on the chatter, more on the doing or entertaining.
My fallback plan is to see Sideways at the Coolidge.
A movie just seems like such a cop-out idea-wise. I know I have a decent amount of the double-X chromosome persuasion reading my journal, and some clever Ys as well, so I'm looking for any kind of advise.
hmmmm...well, i know IIII personally would enjoy going to the zoo, aquarium, theme park'ish type place. but i tend to be on the juvenile side when it comes to dates i enjoy. and those still lean more to the "chatter" side than the doing or entertaining...although they can be a nice balance of both. good luck! she's a lucky lady! ;)

Go for a walk around the Charles, especially the area around the Hatch Shell / Island area.
Way off topic. I am thinking about a night of set buyin, no limit winner takes all Texas Hold'em. You interested? Would you be free for it next Saturday, the 13th?

Hrm. Hatch shell could be fun. Cold though.
13th? I'm game.
I actually like going to the movies, but then I'm a pretty big movie fan. (At least a girl can cuddle up next to you.)
Consider paintball, lasertag, rock climbing, bowling, see a concert/show, what about skeet??
Good luck you stud!
i wanna go! that would rock

I think skeet is more of a 3rd/4th date thing. I don't know her politics yet. =)
Hrm. Paintball. She's very classy. I wonder if under that professional exterior is a partier waiting to get out!
I will have to find out!
I love going to the movies...
BUT since that’s the fall back...
Museum of Science-you can do the museum and the Omni
or any other museum if you are into that sort of thing.
Bowling? lol I love bowling.
Something really low key...like really low key but high fun potential is Good Times Emporium in Somerville. When you go you’ll see what I mean about low key lol They have laser tag and every type of arcade game you can think of, billiards, batting cage, bar food, full bar, big screen TVs...yadda yadda.
i see the post above me pretty much covered it.

It appears the Zoo idea was a hit, as were both movies.

She's doing a Masters at Harvard while working, and is in the middle of midterms, so not yet. =)

Unless that was just a way of saying she'd changed her mind! *panic*
