Yikes

Yesterday, I tried to move stuff out of a Large shed I built on my parent's back yard to store my furniture until I moved. Drove a truck into the backyard, all ready to laod it, and the truck got stuck. I mean STUCK. 6 inches of rain sank that sucker up to the axles. Had to call a tow truck to get it out.

I'm going to have to wait a week or two, and pray that either the ground freezes, or it warms up enough to solidify the ground a bit so that I can get a truck back there in the next week or two.

In the meantime, I'm tempted to make a trip down there to get a few loads of small things that will fit into my sport trac. I did manage to grab a pair of end tables, some lamps, and my dresser.

I've got enough to live here for a few weeks without getting too annoyed.

Done a lot of unpacking, a lot of cleaning. Feeling quite tired. I'm on the 2nd floor, so everything goes up a flight of stairs...

I think its time to relax a little bit. Though I might to get my living room set out of my brother's apartment... nah.

  • Charles River Ride

So I went for a ride along the Charles in the other direction, towards Cambidge. Picture links to album.

  • Oh yeah, I bought a bike.

I had an old mountain bike, a GT Tequesta, but it kinda sucked for riding around town, which is pretty much all I do on a bike these days. Not to…

  • Lazy weekend

I had a nice lazy weekend. I did go for a nice ride along the Charles River Reservation though.
