09:43 pm - Trip Report: Little Haystack, Mount Lincoln, Mount Lafayette

Whew. Finally got up early enough on a day with decent enough weather to hit the Whites. I went for a dayhike loop. Up Falling Waters to Little Haystack (+3000Ft Elev. Gain, 3.2Miles) then followed Franconia Ride trail up and over Lincoln and Lafayette (+850ft, 1.6M), then down the Old Bridle Path back to the truck (3450 ft, 4.0M).

Weather was excellent on the way up and down, but above treeline, there was some HARSH wind that made it feel about 20 degrees cooler. Luckily, I had my gear stowed, so I was ok. Blackflies and Mosquitos were not out en masse, so I don't have much in the way of bites. I saw the new Greenleaf hut. Wow. Very Fancy!

Now I just need a hot local chick that likes to hike so I can stick something interesting in the next batch of photos!

And of course, you all want the photos! 8 PAGES WORTH!

85 photos!
