Secrets and Lies

I don't want to get off on a rant here. Really.

If you don't want to tell the truth on your journal, thats entirely OK. After all, its YOUR journal, not mine.

If you aren't going to tell the truth to your journal, why keep it? It just becomes another affectation of a faked personality, another layer of pathetic veneer smeared onto the surface of the painting called 'public you'.

If you wanna continue down that path, go right ahead, but don't expect me to follow you. I'm going to continue to just say what is on my mind. If you can't deal with that, don't read it.

***If something happens when I'm with you and you would prefer I not mention it in my journal, I will, of course, honor your request.***

Book Update

Revenge - Stephen Fry - An update (homage to) of The Count of Monte Cristo that falls short of the original. The second half of the book is rushed. Part of the allure of the Count is his detailed planning, the intricate revenge. I won't ruin it for you by pointing out specific faults, but I am a big fan of Dumas, and this kind of let me down.

Bloodsucking Fiends - Christopher Moore +
Coyote Blue - Christopher Moore - Both of these were hilarious. I turned onto him after picking up Lamb, which I loved. I burned right through both of them in a day. I'm gonna go get the rest of his stuff.
